Sports Injuries Rehabilitation Products

Sports injuries are injuries that occur in athletic activities. In many cases, these injuries are due to overuse or acute trauma of a part of the body when participating in a certain activity. For example, runner's knee is a painful condition generally associated with running, while tennis elbow is a form of repetitive stress injury at the elbow. Other types of injuries can be caused by a hard contact with something. This can often cause a broken bone or torn ligament or tendon.

From many years research shows, ultrasound therapy is the most effectiveness and reliable method. Physiotherapies often used it for care on case of tendon injuries and speed up rehabilitation.

How does Ultrasound works?
Ultrasound is a form of MECHANICAL energy, it consists of inaudible high frequency mechanical vibrations, created by piezoelectric crystal located within the transducer. The sound waves (energy) produced are transmitted by propagation through molecular collision and vibration. Any increase in the molecular vibration in the tissue can result in heat generation, and ultrasound can be used to produce thermal changes in the tissues, though current usage in therapy does not focus on this phenomenon. In addition to thermal changes, the vibration of the tissues appears to have effects which are generally considered to be non thermal in nature, though other modalities - Pulsed Shortwave, there must be a thermal component however small, obtained much valuable biological effects.

What is High quality Therapeutic Ultrasound?

Cavitation occurs when gas‐filled bubbles expand and compress because of ultrasonically induced pressure changes in tissue fluids, with a resulting increase in flow in the surrounding fluid. Stable (regular) cavitation is considered to be beneficial to injured tissue, whereas unstable (transient) cavitation is considered to cause tissue damage. The former can be sustained at lower intensities than are required for unstable cavitation and can be suppressed by the use of very short pulses.
